| I am trying to revalue my financial assets manually as at 31 Dec 2007. In the Asset Revaluation Table, after selecting an asset, whenever I enter a revaluation date manually or click on the arrows above the calendar to try to select a date, MySF hangs and I am obliged to exit using Ctl-Alt-Del. I thought there was another method to revalue assets manually, but I cannot find it. Has it been removed?

Hi,
When you enter a date (or select one from the calendar) there will a pause while MySF Manage attempts to fetch revaluation data from the data service. During this time you should see the hourglass wait cursor instead of the usual arrow. Please wait a short while (no more than 20sec) before pressing ctrl-alt-del. Please let me know if you already waited longer than that time.
Earlier versions of MySF Manager (pre-3.x versions) allowed revaluation through the Add/ Manage Financial Assets screens, but this functionality was consolidated into the asset revaluation table.
Regards,
MySF

| Thanks for that information. I have tried again and been more patient this time. However, the process has been extremely slow. The delays between each keystroke range between 1 min 40 sec and 3 min 40 sec. Each manual revaluation of my ASX-listed assets took between 5 min 30 sec and 7 min 20 sec!! Most of the time has been spent watching the hourglass and waiting for it to disappear.

Hi,
It sounds like there may be something wrong. The revaluations should be relatively fast.
Could you please send through your data file together with the dates you were attempting to use in revaluations to info@mysf.com.au. We will try to replicate similar delays and see what causes the problem.
Regards,
MySF
