Hi folks,
I've exported a report and saved it with extension .rpt. To reopen it, do I have to do so in MySF? if yes, how? Can it be opened in Word or Excel? If so, how? MS Widows is telling me "File Type: Unknown. Description: Windows does not recognize this file type."
Thanks & regards
Ian

The format of the export should be chosen as the desired file format. This can be done by selecting an option from Save as type: on the Export Report screen that comes up after the Export Button (envelope) is clicked when viewing a report.
The formats included as standard are
Crystal Reports (.rpt)
Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
Microsoft Excel (.xls)
Microsoft Excel Data Only (.xls)
Microsoft Word (.doc)
Rich Text Format (.rtf)
.rpt files can only be opened with Crystal Reports.
Regards,
MySF Team
